Walther Olympia 1926 with matching bullet counterweight, and late style magazine. SN: 4491. Cal: .22LR. Standard configuration Olympia with 7.5” barrel having drift adjustable front and rear sights. Left side of slide with “Walther Patent” followed by Walther banner. Right side of slide marked with caliber and location in Zella-Mehlis. Crown/N proofs on right side of barrel, frame boss, and right side of slide. Full serial number on right frame boss and repeated on the back of the counterweight. Counterweight secured by two slotted screws; front cap unscrews to access. Single piece walnut grip with shallow thumb rest and broad areas of checkering on each side. Right side of magazine body numbered “32”. Late floorplate without provision for screwdriver. Condition: At least 98% bright original blue except for strip on right side, centered around SN, where worn from overly enthusiastic disassembly. Original grips, having most varnish, in same condition as the rest of the pistol. Excellent magazine. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A truly wonderful, all original Olympia that has probably been disassembled more frequently than shot! A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! #A900
