Walnut forend and smooth stock, no provision for bayonet, with right side of butt recessed for swivel. Metal butt plate. All major and most minor components rust blued with a bright in-the-white bolt. Varnished stock with standard inspector markings. Perfect manual mechanics. An extremely scarce Carbine, made by SIG over a century ago, in remarkable condition and with terrific eye appeal. IMPORTANT: This carbine was specifically made to fire the 7.5x53 (GP90) carbine. Using the more common and far more powerful 7.55x55 (GP11) ammunition may blow up the action!!! A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
