Excellent Waffenfabrik Bern M1929 Luger with standard polish, red grips, correct red based magazine with holster and spare magazine. SN: 55999. Cal. 7.65 Luger. Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and receiver lug. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on forward frame. Forward frame recess marked “3.39” reflecting manufacture in March 1939. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered red hard rubber grips. Original leather holster with shoulder strap. Manufacturer marked on obverse surface and dated “45”, the same date that also appears on the shoulder strap. Spare magazine, of later manufacture, with brown plug. Condition: At least 95% original salt blue with most wear on the tips of the rails and hump of side plate. Surprisingly strong grip straps. Comparable condition magazines. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG holster and strap with supple leather and original stitching with expected staining from moderate field use. No noticeable repairs. One of the most desirable of the M1929 Bern Lugers with correct magazine and an original holster with later magazine. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! Inv #I-105.
