Seldom encountered Sig Sauer P225, made in Switzerland expressly for the Swiss Police, Canton Bern, with bottom magazine release, spare magazine and box. SN: M547907. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration SIG SAUER P225 with drift adjustable front and rear sights. Left side of slide marked with the Cantonal shield of Bern followed by SIG SAUER. The right side is marked with the model along with “Montage Suisse” (meaning assembled in Switzerland). The exposed barrel hood is marked 9mm Para followed by the Swiss proofing repeated on the forward slide. The full serial number is on the right side of the slide and on the right side of the frame. Fitted with two piece black plastic checkered grips. Both of the single column magazines with seven indicator holes: one of the magazines having been personalized “R.B.” Complete with correct but unmarked SIG SAUER blue plastic box. Condition: Stunning 99% original finish. Minimal wear, more from movement within the box than from actual use. The frontstrap is perfect. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG spare magazine and box. A nearly new Swiss assembled P225 with the Bern police marking. Impossible to improve upon short of being NIB and much, much rarer than the German P6!
