SIG P49 P210 Military, High Polish, RIG #I-71
SIG P49 Swiss Military SN: A105330. Cal 9mmP. All original SIG P49 with high polish finish as typical for the early military pistols delivered in 1950/51with later dated holster and strap. Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and plum colored frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on front of trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching, original hammer assembly with no half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with one high polish magazine. Very good + holster with supple leather whose obverse surface is manufacturer marked and dated “66”. Complete with manufacturer marked and accepted shoulder strap dated “57”. Condition: Approximately 96% original salt blue with small patch of thinning on the right rail and frame where in contact with the holster and a number of chatter marks above the slide release and on the front of the trigger guard. Original grips with light handling dings and oil stains around screw escutcheons. Mirror bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. An early military P49 with just enough wear that can be shot without concern for reducing its collector appeal. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
