SIG P49 Swiss Military SN: A102403. Cal 9mmP. Exceptionally nice, all original SIG P49 with high polish finish as typical for the early military pistols delivered in 1950/51 with a ’52 dated holster. Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on left side of trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows an unnumbered hammer assembly with half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with one high polish magazine. Near excellent tan holster with supple leather whose obverse surface is manufacturer marked and dated “52”. Supple shoulder strap is military marked and dated “19”, likely taken from an earlier Luger or revolver holster. Condition: At least 97% original salt blue that equally applies to the frontstrap. Crisp grips retain most of their original varnish with negligible oil darkening of the serrated cuts. Mirror bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. A very high condition early military P49 with closely dated holster that would grace any collection.  A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! #Inv# I-168
