SIG P49 P210 Super Early Military, High polish!
One of the first standard issue SIG P49s delivered to the Swiss Military complete with original hammer group and in-the-white magazine body. SN:A100564. Cal: 9mmP. All original, super early production, SIG P49 with high polish finish having 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. This was the 564th P49 made for the Swiss Military. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on left side of the trigger guard and discreetly applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching original hammer assembly without half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with an early magazine whose body was never blued. Easily corroded, subsequent magazines were blued. Condition: At least 95-97% original salt blue that equally applies to the frontstrap. Crisp grips retain most of their original varnish with negligible oil darkening of the serrated cuts. Bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. An extremely early gun delivered in 1949 that should be of interest to every SIG and Swiss Military collector. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! Inv# I-163
