SIG P49 P210 Military, High polish, Complete Rig
SIG P49 Swiss Military SN: A100308. Cal 9mmP. Exceptionally nice, all original, super early production, SIG P49 with high polish finish with spare magazine and holster. Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. This was the 308th P49 made for the Swiss Military! Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on front of trigger guard and discreetly applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching original hammer assembly that has no half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two high polish magazines, one original finish, the second reblued. Approximately 98-99% original salt blue that equally applies to the frontstrap. Crisp grips retain most of their original varnish with negligible oil darkening of the serrated cuts. Mirror bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. Supple brown holster, of correct vintage, whose obverse surface is manufacturer marked and dated “1950”. Fitted with early style shoulder strap, likely from a Bern 1929 Luger, as the strap, military accepted, is dated “40”. An extremely high condition, super early, original configuration military P49 rig, from the first group of delivered pistols! A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
