High condition and all matching 1893 Borchardt with original dummy magazine, Vaseline tin in leather pouch, shoulder stock with cheek piece and reproduction holster in high quality modern case. SN 2433. Cal. 7.63mm. Standard configuration Borchardt with 7-1/2″ barrel having a fixed front sight and V notch rear sight, now with thin metal backing to effectively raise the rear notch. Unmarked chamber. Middle toggle link marked “D.R.P./No 75837”. Usual Crown/BUG proofing on the left side of the barrel, left side of the receiver, left side of the middle toggle link and on either side of the breechblock. The right side of the receiver is marked “SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT./DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN./BERLIN”. The trigger, stock lug, and base of frame are all numbered “2433” as is the magazine. Unnumbered shoulder stock and cheek piece. Major components are rust blued. Strawed sear and toggle lock . Grey, case hardened safety. The trigger, receiver ears, and grip screws are fire blued. Crisp checkered walnut grips with a prominent border. Nickel plated magazine with smooth wood base. Fire blued small parts and screws with cheek piece having a brass release knob. Reproduction holster and retaining straps. Original dummy magazine whose spine is marked “GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT” original Vaseline tin in thin black leather pouch. No spare magazines or cleaning rod. Accompanied by brass plate that details the pistol. Condition: Pistol in near excellent condition with original rust blue showing some thinning over front and backstsrap. Faint etching on left side of recoil housing as pictured. Near excellent grips with original varnish showing a scattering of handling dings and blunting. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Metal fitting on stock with original rust blue; wood lightly refinished. Near excellent dummy magazine and Vaseline tin. Reproduction holster and straps, case and brass plaque near new. A very nice, all original DWM Borchardt with matching magazine whose accessories make for a dramatic presentation.
