Mauser Luger, 42 chamber date, byf code with wood grips and late fxo P.08 marked magazine. SN: 398c. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration WWII military Luger with 4inch barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. 42 chamber date, middle toggle link marked with byf code. Left side of frame marked “P.08”. Usual Waffenamt acceptances on right side of receiver and barrel. Full serial number with letter suffix on front of frame with the serial number repeated under the barrel and on left side of receiver. Disassembly shows all matching numbers including the grips that have been marked with a very large “98” and Waffenamt acceptance. Extruded magazine marked “fxo, E/37, P.08” with unmarked black plastic plug. Condition: Approximately 97% original salt blue with holster wear in expected places. Comparable condition grips with some staining, particularly around the curved areas on the rear of each panel. Bright bore with very sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. An excellent, all original, representative WWII Nazi Luger. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
