Dreyse 1910 in 9mmP, Fantastic Condition!
Superb example of a Dreyse M1910 with closely numbered magazine. SN: 1344. Cal. 9mmP. Standard configuration pistol with fixed front and rear sights. Shallow matted rib. Left side of frame with two line manufacturer address. Crown/N proofing on left side of slide, receiver and above trigger. “DREYSE” on the right side. Fixed ejector on left side between the receiver legend and recess in which the presumed police marking has been neatly removed. A second small area has been cleaned under the tang. Major and most minor components finished with a matted rust blue. Fire blue grip screw, escutcheon, and magazine release. Hard rubber grips molded to have the intertwined initials of the manufacturer above a broad area of checkering. Original magazine with six indicator holes and detachable base marked “1113 II” consistent with police use. Condition: At least 97-98% bright original rust blue, the main loss reflecting the removed police marking inside the left panel recess. Equally crisp grips with the right panel having a hairline crack extending back from the screw. Comparable condition magazine with fading of the forward portion of the floorplate. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. It would be very, very difficult to improve on this massive, historic pistol, one of the best to be offered for several years.
