Excellent Waffenfabrik Bern M1929 Luger with standard polish, red grips, two brown base magazines with holster. SN: 51421. Cal. 7.65 Luger. Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and receiver lug. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on left side of receiver. Forward frame recess marked “5.34” reflecting manufacture in May 1934. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered red hard rubber grips. Original leather holster. Manufacturer marked on obverse surface and dated “34”, the same year that the pistol was manufactured! Both magazines, of later manufacture, with brown plugs. Condition: At least 98% original salt blue showing minimal sharp edge holster wear. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent condition magazines with one of the plugs having minor losses. VG holster with supple leather and original stitching with expected staining from moderate field use. No noticeable repairs. One of the most desirable of the M1929 Bern Lugers, especially nice with a year matched holster and spare magazine. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT! Inv I-160.
