A super condition Colt M1908, late variation, made in 1931, in original box with crisp paperwork. SN: 112211. Cal: .380 ACP. Standard configuration Colt M1908 with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide with usual two line address referencing patent years of 1897-1903. Rampant Colt behind serrations. Two line address on right side of slide specifying caliber. Left side of frame with full serial number and raised inspection stamp on upper trigger guard web. Assembler number “75” on the right side. Fitted with walnut checkered grips. Each panel with silver medallion. Correct dual tone magazine marked “CAL. 380/COLT” on floorplate. Major and most minor components finished with rich original wood blue. Barrel in-the-white. Crisp original instruction booklet and separation special instruction insert. Matching box with separated end labels noting Hammerless and Caliber. Penciled serial number on bottom of box. Condition: Pistol with bright original blue showing minimal sharp edge wear and a few specks of oxidation on front strap and grip safety as pictured. Equally crisp grips with sharp checkering. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Instructional literature with slight staining. Solid box with usual shelf wear and repair to leading edge of lid as pictured.
